Being Innovative

I'm just so proud of myself that I had to blog about it! Maybe everyone is way past me and has already done this, but it was a first for me and I'm so excited!

I had a HUGE pile of clothes that had been washed and dried at least a week ago, and they were wrinkled from being piled in baskets. I decided to take a few hours to iron them all and get back on top of the laundry. I was all ready to go when I realized that my starch spray can was empty. What was I to do? Well there had to be a way to make my own, right? Of course! I jumped on the internet as usual and keyed a search through Google. I found lots of sites with ironing tips and 'recipes' for clothing starch. I wanted something really simple, and found this. So great! I had cornstarch in the cupboard and water from the tap. So simple! Now our clothes are not only clean, but they are ironed and presentable.

Have you had an experience like mine? Leave a comment! I love getting pointers. :)

  2. well i have no advice to offer! lol! I hate ironing so if I have wrinkly clothes I throw them back in the dryer for awhile until they aren't wrinkly anymore!
